- A reorganized and revised chapter on mistrials, with expanded content, providing several concrete examples of the type of conduct (by jurors, defense counsel, and prosecutors) that could provide grounds for a mistrial
- New appellate decisions addressing matters such as search-and-seizure, competency, discovery, double jeopardy, jury management, admissibility of witness testimony, jury instructions, sentencing and resentencing, and OWI
- Updated poverty guidelines for use in indigency determinations
The 2021-2022 revision includes a number of changes such as:
- A revised chapter on remote proceedings, updated to reflect legislative amendments that took effect in March 2022
