Dean R. Dietrich is a shareholder in the Law Firm of Dietrich VanderWaal, S.C. He has represented attorneys in matters before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Office of Lawyer Regulation and has consulted with numerous law firms and lawyers regarding compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct. He serves as Chair of the State Bar Committee on Professional Ethics, and he has also served on the Committee appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court to review changes to Supreme Court Rules Chapter 20. Mr. Dietrich is a graduate of Marquette University Law School.
John P. Macy is a shareholder with the law firm of Municipal Law and Litigation Group, S.C. (Arenz, Molter, Macy, Riffle, Larson & Bitar). The firm is engaged in the general practice of law, with a heavy emphasis on municipal law and municipal insurance defense throughout Wisconsin. The firm currently represents approximately 50 municipal entities and several insurance companies. Mr. Macy is a graduate of the Marquette University Law School. Michael P. May, Boardman & Clark LLP, has over four decades of legal experience, including 16 years as City Attorney for Madison, Wisconsin. His practice includes assisting local units of government, businesses or individuals on alcohol licensing, appellate review, civil rights, contracts (including public bidding), constitutional law, elections, employment law, ethics, government structure, intergovernmental agreements, open meetings and public records, police and fire, public works and utilities, tax disputes, and zoning. He also brings a wealth of experience dealing with politically charged issues while under public scrutiny.
Steven R. Sorenson is a Shareholder at von Briesen & Roper, S.C. in Neenah, where he has accumulated more than 35 years of experience helping clients with a wide range of legal issues. Steve provides counsel on corporate law, business succession planning and estate planning. He also represents municipalities, and with regard to real estate, he counsels on land use, zoning, smart growth, water front litigation, and nonmetallic mining. He is a Fond du Lac County Court Commissioner and serves as a mediator and arbitrator in real estate and labor disputes.
