Jeffrey M. Glazer is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UW Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic. Prior to teaching at the Law School, he worked in private practice for a number of boutique law firms in business litigation, intellectual property, and creditors’ rights.
Ronald D. McFall is an experienced business lawyer whose original training included a dual track as i) a lawyer for cooperatives and other producer-owned organizations and ii) a securities/mergers and acquisitions lawyer. Ron regularly provides cooperative, securities, and transactional advice to a variety of cooperatives and producer-owned and member-owned organizations in the food processing, agricultural, organic, consumer and renewable energy sectors. In recent years, Ron has represented numerous cooperatives and other producer-owned businesses in a wide range of complex restructuring, merger and acquisition, and joint venture transactions. Ron is a partner at Stoel Rives, LLP, working in the Minneapolis office.
Adam D. Schurle is a tax partner in the Minneapolis office of Stoel Rives LLP. He counsels on a variety of federal and state tax issues, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and energy tax credit transactions. A significant portion of Adam’s practice relates to cooperative tax issues. He advises cooperatives on organizational, operational, and transactional aspects of cooperative tax law, including preparation of organizational documents, entity restructurings and conversions, and mergers and other tax-free reorganizations of cooperatives.
