Jeffrey O. Davis is a partner in Quarles & Brady’s Milwaukee office. He is a member of the firm’s litigation group and chairs the firm's Insurance Recovery practice, in which capacity he leads a team that maintains a substantive focus on all aspects of insurance litigation and counseling on behalf of policyholders, including commercial general liability, directors and officers and other claims-made coverages, first-party property, and bad faith. He is currently listed as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer in the area of business litigation and in Best Lawyers in America in the area of insurance law, and he regularly speaks and writes on a variety of different coverage matters. He also currently teaches Insurance Law as an adjunct professor at the Marquette University Law School.
Brandon R. Gutschow is an associate and litigation lawyer in the Milwaukee office of Quarles & Brady LLP. He received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Marquette University, and his law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. As a lawyer in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group, he represents clients in all phases of complex commercial litigation, including insurance coverage litigation. He also has an active practice in the area of energy and utility law. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Patrick S. Nolan is a partner with the Milwaukee office of Quarles & Brady, LLP, focusing on product liability, personal injury, and insurance coverage litigation. He attended the London School of Economics and Political Science (1991–92), received his B.S. from Boston College in 1993, and received his J.D. in 1997 from Marquette University Law School, where he served as managing editor of the Marquette Law Review. Mr. Nolan is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Defense Research Institute, Wisconsin Defense Counsel, and the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association.
Alexandra W. Shortridge is an associate in Quarles & Brady's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School. Before starting at the firm, she served as judicial intern to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage and she has experience with mass tort coverage, including asbestos, environmental, and sexual abuse cases. She is also involved in multiple pro bono commitments, including criminal appellate work, the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, and domestic abuse and truancy prevention.
