Gregg M. Herman, of Loeb & Herman, S.C. in Milwaukee, was admitted to the Wisconsin bar in 1977 after receiving his law degree at the University of Wisconsin Law School. He served as assistant district attorney for Milwaukee County from 1977 to 1984. He is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a specialist in family law trial advocacy and is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Gregg is a past chair of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. He previously served as chair of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Family Law Section, and president of the Milwaukee Bar Association and of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He also served three terms as a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin Board of Governors.

He is the founder and was the first chair of the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin and the Divorce Cooperation Institute. Gregg has served as associate editor and editor-in-chief of the Wisconsin Journal of Family Law and is the editor of The Joy of Settlement and 101+ Practical Solutions for the Family Lawyer, both published by the ABA Family Law Section.
