A law firm checkup
The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) and State Bar of Wisconsin have partnered together to create a tool for Wisconsin-licensed attorneys to evaluate their firm’s management systems and see where they may be at risk for malpractice or client complaints.
At The Wisconsin Law Firm Self-Assessment, State Bar Ethics Counsel, the Law Practice Assistance Manager, and the director of the Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR), will highlight key takeaways from eight modules in the self-assessment. They’ll address issues such as:
- Developing measures to assess your firm’s competency
- Appropriately managing your firm and your staff
- Protecting confidential client information
- Detecting potential conflicts of interest
- And more!
Invest for success
By taking a few minutes to review the self-assessment before attending, you can get a sense of where your firm may be failing to meet the standard of care set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct. The speakers can answer questions and will offer guidance on implementing preventative measures to manage risk.
Elevate your firm’s competence with help from The Wisconsin Law Firm Self-Assessment.
