Wow them in writing

Imagine you’ve drafted a legal memorandum for your supervising attorney. It’s detailed, well-researched, and packed with legal arguments. But when the attorney reviews it, they can’t identify your key points because the writing lacks clarity or structure.

Legal Writing for Paralegals: Tips from an Appellate Judge is designed to help you avoid that experience. Presented by Judge Thomas Hruz, a seasoned appellate judge with over a decade of experience on the bench, this webcast provides unique insights into how judges evaluate legal writing. Using his perspective as a lawyer turned judge, Judge Hruz gives you behind-the-scenes insights into how judges read, assess, and respond to legal writing.
