Dr. Lindsey C. Thomas is a board-certified forensic pathologist. She received her medical degree and completed her residency in Pathology at the University of Michigan Medical Center and completed her Fellowship in Forensic Pathology at the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

Dr. Thomas worked as a Medical Examiner in Minnesota for over 30 years. Currently she does locum tenens intermittent work for the Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office in Reno, Nevada, and the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office in Salt Lake City, as well as consulting with criminal and civil attorneys. Dr. Thomas has extensive history testifying as an expert in court as a forensic pathologist/medical examiner and has testified in high-profile death cases, including as an expert witness for the state in the Derek Chauvin murder trial.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have three remarkable children, three delightful children-in-law, and two extraordinary grandsons. In her spare time, she jogs slowly, reads, cooks, and travels.​
