Brady Williamson is a highly accomplished constitutional and corporate litigator who has taught at the University of Wisconsin Law School for over 30 years. He has successfully argued cases in the U.S. Supreme Court and frequently appears in federal and state appellate courts to address constitutional issues. Additionally, he has been involved in constitutional and election law projects in several countries, including West Africa, Iraq, Southern Sudan, Egypt, and Bangladesh. He has served as the court-appointed fee examiner in the $120 billion PROMESA reorganization proceedings for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico since 2017. In the United States, his legal practice focuses on appellate advocacy and corporate law and reorganization. He is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the National Bankruptcy Conference, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the American College of Bankruptcy. In 1996, he was appointed by the President of the United States to chair the National Bankruptcy Review Commission, which submitted comprehensive recommendations to Congress, the Chief Justice, and the President.

Stephen P. Hurley is a shareholder at Hurley Burish, S.C. in Madison and concentrates his practice on business and criminal litigation. He taught evidence at the University of Wisconsin Law School for over 30 years and is a frequent lecturer at legal education programs. In 2004, he was recognized as the most outstanding adjunct member of the instructional staff of the University of Wisconsin Law School. Stephen is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and was a Master Bencher in the James E. Doyle Inn of Court. For the last thirteen years, he’s been selected by Super Lawyers as one of the top ten lawyers in Wisconsin and is listed in recent editions of The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White) in the criminal law section. He graduated from Knox College, Galesburg, Illinois, and received his J.D. in 1972 from the University of Illinois College of Law at Champaign-Urbana. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Nicole Talbott Settle; SBWCP™, has worked with attorneys at Godfrey & Kahn’s Madison office for more than 25 years.  In her role as a paralegal and litigation technology analyst, she has assisted attorneys in all phases of complex litigation and has been a part of over 30 trial teams.  In 2022 she was recognized by the Wisconsin Law Journal as an Unsung Hero. She is a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Paralegal Association of Wisconsin, Madison Area Paralegal Association, and National Notary Association.  She is a State Bar of Wisconsin Certified Paralegal who earned her BA in Political Science and paralegal certificate from California State University, Chico in 1991.

Yvonne Geerts; SBWCP™, is a paralegal at Hurley Burish, S.C. in Madison, supporting attorneys in all facets of business and criminal litigation. Prior to joining Hurley Burish, she was an intake specialist for the Wisconsin Innocence Project’s Latino Exoneration Program at the University of Wisconsin Law School.  In 2017, alongside her colleagues, she was a recipient of the State Bar’s Legal Innovator award. She is fluent in Spanish and is a State Bar of Wisconsin Certified Paralegal with an undergraduate degree from UW-Madison and paralegal certificate from Madison College.
