Joshua D. Christianson has practiced law for more than 18 years, representing Wisconsin debtors and creditors in debt relief, debt collection, bankruptcy, and consumer protection matters. He has presented at the University of Wisconsin Law School, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Credit Union League. He practices in Eau Claire and lives there with his wife and two children. One of his favorite parts of practice is getting contacts from other practitioners to discuss these topics or bounce ideas around about a problem (and doing the same to others when he has a tricky question), so he would be happy to be a resource for anyone attending the program.
Mont L. Martin has been serving throughout Wisconsin as trustee in Wis. Stats. 128.21 debt proceedings since 1994, helping to steward the statute's use as an alternative to bankruptcy. Atty. Martin's office has a statewide presence and reputation for competently discharging the responsibilities of these judicial appointments while being fair-minded and attentive to the needs of creditors, debtors, and the courts alike.
Over the years, Atty. Martin has given numerous presentations on 128.21 forms and procedures, including to several county bar associations, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the 2011 and 2013 Judicial Commissioners Conferences, and the 2012 Judicial Conference.
Atty. Martin is currently active in the Marquette Volunteer Lawyer Clinic, Milwaukee Justice Center, House of Peace, and the Volunteer Lawyer Project of Legal Action of Wisconsin. Throughout the years, he has served on the boards of community organizations, including Family Service of Waukesha, Aurora Family Service, and his parish. He is happily married and has two children.
