Cheryl A. Hipenbecker serves as General Counsel for the Knight Barry Title Group, which she joined in January 2007 after seven years in private practice. At Knight Barry, Ms. Hipenbecker is the first point of contact for staff on legal matters; she tackles and overcomes challenging conveyances, smoothing the road for staff and clients alike. In addition, Ms. Hipenbecker assists in staff training and compliance and is an integral part of Knight Barry’s Best Practice Team to meet, and exceed, the American Land Title Association’s Best Practice standards. As a board member of the Wisconsin Land Title Association (WLTA) and a co-chair of the WLTA Legislative Committee, Ms. Hipenbecker also frequently travels to speak to attorneys, realtors, and lenders on topics affecting real estate conveyances. Ms. Hipenbecker graduated magna cum laude from University of Minnesota Law School in 1999.

Scott J. Hutchison is Branch Counsel at the Wauwatosa office of Knight Barry Title Group. He devotes a substantial portion of his work to assisting with and closing residential and commercial real estate transactions for buyers, sellers, and numerous lenders in Milwaukee and the surrounding areas. Mr. Hutchison has also participated as a visiting faculty member in the Lawyering Skills Program-Residential Real Estate Transactions at the University of Wisconsin Law School and recently joined Waukesha County Technical College’s faculty as adjunct instructor in the real estate program. Mr. Hutchison received his B.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School.
