Medicare Secondary Payer Update: Section 111 Reporting Impacts All Work Comp Settlements 2024

Product ID: CA3678R5
Presented By: State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE

MSAs on the move

Recently, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced unexpected and significant changes to reporting requirements that have major implications for worker’s compensation law. CMS will now collect Medicare Set-Aside (MSA) data for all worker’s comp settlements reported via Section 111 of the Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act (MMSEA) of 2007. These changes have led to confusion in the worker’s comp community about what is required to settle cases.

Gain clarity with Medicare Secondary Payer Update: How Section 111 Reporting Impacts All Work Comp Settlements. Join Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance guru Aaron Frederickson for guidance on the recent changes to MSA reporting.
