Aaron N. Halstead is a shareholder in Hawks Quindel, S.C.’s Madison office. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Iowa (B.A., with honors and high distinction, 1987) and of Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark School of Law (J.D., with honors, 1990).
Attorney Halstead's practice is focused on employment litigation and worker’s compensation, and he devotes a substantial portion of his practice to representing Spanish-speaking employees. Attorney Halstead has argued employment and labor cases before both the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He has also served as a private arbitrator and mediator to parties involved in employment-related litigation.
Attorney Halstead has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for labor and employment law each year since 2003, and for worker’s compensation each year since 2009. He co-chaired the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Annual Employment Law Update from 2012-2018.
