The Workshop will open with a high energy and engaging training by Dr. Gregory Firestone that will include skill-building activities designed to promote conflict resolution, interpersonal, acceptance, deep listening, and collaborative co-creation. Participants will explore how authentic “Yes, And” responses create the foundation for a more collaborative engagement and build upon this foundation with advanced skills essential for family lawyers and mediators. Through laughter and open exploration, participants will learn the hidden skills that comedy improv groups use to co-create improv scenes on the spot and how these and other skills can be utilized to enhance effective conflict resolution competence.
