Regan Hendrickson (Stoltz Hendrickson LLC.) has over 15 years of legal experience in dispute resolution, negotiation, and mediation.  As a corporate attorney, she negotiated commercial contracts, mediated disputes, and managed complex litigation.  Regan has been in private practice since 2015 and has worked primarily in family law.  Her practice has focused on bringing parties together to solve problems through mediation and advocating for the best interests of children and at-risk adults as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem.  She is an American Bar Fellow and the recipient of the 2020 Dane County Bar Association Pro Bono Honorable Mention for her work with the Student Expulsion Prevention Program (StEPP). She graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2003.

 

Matthew Giesfeldt (State Public Defenders Office) is a public defender specializing in juvenile and mental health cases. He wrote the State Bar of Wisconsin's handbook on termination of parental rights cases and chapters of the handbook on juvenile law. He has given 75+ legal trainings on juvenile, education, and mental health law, including three national presentations. He's a founder/board member for the Student Expulsion Prevention Project. He received his BS in education from Edgewood College in 2006, his MS in psychology from the University of Wisconsin in 2010, and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2012. He also started his own 501(c)3 – the Mama Goose Memorial Run/Walk – to raise funds for the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
