Jenni Spies Karas, Marquette 2006, is an assistant district attorney with Milwaukee County, where she practices in termination of parental rights and cases involving children in need of protection and services. Attorney Karas has been litigating primarily termination of parental rights cases since 2008 and currently serves as the team captain of the Termination of Parental Rights unit. Attorney Karas has also had an opportunity to argue State v. R.A.M. in January 2024 and State v. B.W. in March 2024 before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. 

Elisabeth Andrews Mueller, Marquette 1996, is a deputy district attorney with Milwaukee County, where she oversees child welfare cases including termination of parental rights, children in need of protection and services, and chapter 48 guardianships.  Throughout her career, Attorney Mueller has litigated cases involving the termination of parental rights, children in need of protection and services, and criminal matters. Attorney Mueller successfully argued State v. H.C. before the Wisconsin Supreme Court in December 2024.
