Caleb R. Gerbitz is an appellate and commercial litigation attorney at Meissner Tierney Fisher & Nichols. He serves as the Wisconsin state chair of the American Bar Association’s Council of Appellate Lawyers and as co-chair of the Milwaukee Bar Association’s civil litigation section. Caleb graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in economics. He graduated summa cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, after which he clerked for Justice Brian Hagedorn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In addition to his legal practice, Caleb authors a Substack column, Appellate Approach, which covers Wisconsin’s appellate courts and the Seventh Circuit.
