Providing Patient Care Post-Dobbs: A Look at Wisconsin Abortion Law 2022

Product ID: CA3373D
Presented By: State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE

Providing Patient Care Post-Dobbs: A Look at Wisconsin Abortion Law

In its decision overturning Roe v. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court relinquished determinations about the legality of abortion to the states. Since then, state laws regulating abortion have changed almost daily. The resulting patchwork of laws, temporary injunctions, and litigation has left the legal status of abortion uncertain in roughly half of the country. 1

At Providing Patient Care Post-Dobbs: A Look at Wisconsin Abortion Law, you’ll examine the considerations health care systems and providers are now facing. Leslie A. Freehill and Diane M. Welsh will provide sound guidance on advising clients who are seeking or providing abortion services. You’ll gain a fuller understanding of the legal implications for health care systems and providers under the current law and know what to expect next.
