About the presenters:
Teresa K. Kobelt is an attorney with Bartelt Grob, S.C., in Middleton. Her practice encompasses a mix of civil litigation and transactional work, including entity formation, shareholder (buy/sell) and operating agreements, partner/shareholder buyouts, M&A, franchise offerings, leases, real estate, trademarks, and general business advising. Ms. Kobelt obtained her B.A. from UW-Madison, and her J.D. from the U.W. School of Law. She is member and past chair of the State Bar CLE Committee, past member of the finance committee, past president of the Dane County Bar Association, and a member of the James E. Doyle Inn of Court. When not chained to her desk, she can often be seen on her bicycle in and around the hills of Dane County.
Jessica J. Shrestha is an attorney with Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. in Madison. She concentrates her practice on real property law, representation of electric cooperatives and business transactions. Jessica's work includes representing property owners in boundary disputes and adverse possession matters, resolving title issues, working on easement and right-of-way transactions, assisting clients with environmental regulatory issues, and advising electric cooperatives on a variety of matters including governance, finance and right-of-way. Jessica has written extensively on the law of adverse possession in Wisconsin and has been actively involved with legislation on the topic. She is a frequent presenter on real property law matters including boundaries and utility easements, and on issues relating to electric cooperative management and governance.
