Following the lifting of the most severe COVID restrictions in the U.S., is returning to the workplace now the norm? In March, CNBC reported on a study by Microsoft that found 50% of companies wanted their employees back in the office full-time. But that same study found that 52% of employees were interested in switching to fully remote or hybrid job opportunities. With the uptick in people returning to work, the pushback on returning to work by some, and the large numbers of people still working remotely, 2022 may have presented labor and employment lawyers with as many questions as they had in 2020 and 2021.
