Michelle Drea is an attorney serving as the City Assessor for the City of Madison. Prior to that role, she served as the Wisconsin Property Assessment Manual and Guides Editor for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR). Through this work, Ms. Drea has become a subject matter expert on Boards of Review. In addition, she has had tenures as a textbook author and lecturer with an emphasis on Wisconsin distinctions on property tax and real estate law. She spent the beginning of her career as a lead prosecutor for the City of Denver.
