Patricia N. Engel concentrates her practice in school law and is a shareholder with the Brookfield law firm of Schott, Bublitz & Engel, S.C. Ms. Engel represents students and families in special education and school discipline matters throughout Wisconsin, and she regularly speaks on special education topics. In 2001, Ms. Engel received the Charles Dunn Author Award for an article she co-authored in Wisconsin Lawyer on school expulsions and special education law.
An alumna of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ms. Engel graduated with a B.S. in Special Education and cum laude with a J.D. degree from UW Law School, where she was also elected as a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Engel is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Waukesha County Bar Association, and the Association for Women Lawyers, where she has served as an officer and director. She is also a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA).
