Michael W. Gill joined the firm of Hale, Skemp, Hanson, Skemp & Sleik in 1982 and became a partner in 1986. During his 31 years of practice, Mike has litigated more than 100 trials in the state and federal courts of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Mike has a broad-based civil litigation practice, which includes the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases, products liability cases, professional liability cases, insurance coverage litigation, and business litigation.
Mike prides himself on being a strong trial advocate for all of his clients and finds trial work to be the most enjoyable and satisfying part of his practice. In addition to his trial practice, Mike has served as an arbitrator and mediator in a wide variety of civil cases.
Amy M. Risseeuw joined Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C., as an attorney in 2005. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, she practices in personal injury.
She has tried many cases to verdict in multiple areas of personal injury law, including automobile accidents, dog attacks, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Amy has also handled numerous appellate matters, appearing in the Court of Appeals of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Amy has been selected for inclusion as a Rising Star in the Super Lawyers publication of Milwaukee Magazine. She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Outagamie County Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Association for Justice.
