Daniel B. Geraghty is a partner at Husch Blackwell LLP in Milwaukee where he focuses his practice on complex federal, international, and state tax issues in both planning and controversy matters. He has represented numerous individuals, partnerships, and corporations in a wide variety of tax audits, administrative appeals, and litigation. He is a member of the firm's Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation team.
As part of his focus on international tax matters, Dan has assisted numerous clients in structuring offshore activities, whether through expansion or acquisition of existing businesses. He has also advised numerous foreign businesses on structuring their U.S. activities. In addition, Dan is a certified public accountant.
Robert M. Romashko is an associate with Husch Blackwell LLP in Chicago. As a member of the firm’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education team, he counsels clients on tax planning and represents them before federal and state taxing authorities and in court.
Robert is a former senior attorney with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Office of Chief Counsel. In that role, he litigated cases involving valuation disputes, estate and gift taxation, transferee liability, and civil tax fraud. He also advised IRS examination and appeals functions on conducting audits and developing cases.
