Eviction Defense in Wisconsin 2023

Product ID: CA3504R3
Presented By: State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE

Endorsed by the Public Interest Law and the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin

Help make ends meet

The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated societal inequality on many fronts, including access to affordable housing. Federal, state, and local programs offered aid to tenants struggling to make rent due to the impacts of the coronavirus. But with the unwinding of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, programs like the Wisconsin Emergency Rental Assistance Program are now closed to applicants.1  Evictions in Wisconsin have already returned to pre-pandemic levels, spelling trouble for tenants still unable to afford rent payments.2

Be prepared to help renters facing eviction with the guidance you’ll receive at Eviction Defense in Wisconsin. Nicholas Toman and Francesca E. Voci will fill you in on the relevant statutory authority and explain the eviction process, including required elements of an eviction action. You’ll also learn about notice requirements and valid grounds for eviction.
