Daniel Karon manages Karon LLC, where he represents plaintiffs and defendants in consumer-fraud, antitrust, and wage-and-hour class-action lawsuits. He teaches consumer class actions and complex litigation at the University of Michigan Law School and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and he previously taught at Columbia Law School. He has lectured at several other law schools, including Vanderbilt University, the University of Notre Dame, Tulane University, and the University of Georgia.
For thirteen years, he chaired the ABA National Institute on Class Actions. For five years, he wrote an expert column on class actions and civil justice for Law360, and he co-chaired the American Association for Justice’s Class Action Litigation Group.
He hosts a website and YouTube channel, www.yourlovablelawyer.com, where he strives to bring legal wellness to all. He is the author of Your Lovable Lawyer’s Guide to Legal Wellness. Fighting Back Against a World That’s Out to Cheat You, published by Post Hill Press and distributed by Simon & Schuster. He has published several law-review articles, book chapters, and bar-journal articles. Finally, he keynotes and lectures nationally for universities, colleges, private companies, associations, and the ABA and other bar organizations.
