Suann Ingle
Suann Ingle is among the country’s top visual communication consultants for trial attorneys and litigants. An expert graphic designer, she offers decisive advice on presentation strategy and execution. After thousands of hours in the hot seat in courtrooms and arbitration hearings, Ms. Ingle’s ability to stay calm and focused enables her to anticipate what’s coming and adjust visual communication on the fly to keep judges, juries, and arbitrators focused on the merits of the case.
Since entering the field in 1994, Ms. Ingle has consulted on a wide range of litigation matters, including intellectual property, white-collar, insurance, financial services, employment, and complex business disputes. She has extensive experience in scaling and managing trial support teams and has helped deliver successful outcomes across venues in the United States and Europe.
Ms. Ingle’s visual expertise is grounded in academic study, including a Master of Science degree in Communications Design from Pratt Institute. When she is sketching her ideas, Ms. Ingle explains the principles behind the sketch – and why they increase the odds of winning. She also teaches, develops, and inspires other graphics professionals to embrace the challenges of high-stakes litigation as a career.
Before trial consulting, Ms. Ingle spent seven years at Coca-Cola in New York, where she managed the Creative Services Department. In 1996, she joined TrialGraphix and was instrumental in establishing its New York office. She also spent three years at DecisionQuest, where she assisted legal teams at trial, providing visual solutions to complex, high-stakes cases. Before starting her own firm, Ms. Ingle worked at FTI Consulting, Inc., where she led the New York office of the Trial Services Division.
Catherine A. La Fleur
Catherine A. La Fleur owner of La Fleur Law Offices, S.C., in Sussex, specializes in civil litigation, family law, alternative dispute resolution, and appellate law. She is a National Board of Trial Advocates (NBTA) Certified Civil Trial Specialist and was an adjunct professor of law at Marquette for 20 years.
Attorney La Fleur is a member of the National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). She is a past Chair of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Litigation Section Board, served two terms on the State Bar’s Board of Governors, and was an elected member of the Wisconsin Judicial Council for six years. She also received her mediation training from Harvard Law School’s Program of Instruction for Lawyers.
In 2014, Attorney La Fleur participated in the Joint Legislative Council’s Study Committee on the Transfer of Structured Settlements. She spent six years on the Special Preliminary Review Committee of the Office of Lawyer Regulation. In 2016, she was appointed by Justice Roggensack to a committee formed to study the Office of Lawyer Regulation.
Attorney La Fleur has graded bar exams for the Board of Bar Examiners for over a decade and previously served on the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin Boards. A past president of several Marquette University alumni associations, she is also a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation and the American Bar Association.
Attorney La Fleur’s practice includes extensive appellate work with favorable published Court of Appeals decisions and numerous jury trials in matters ranging from personal injury and product liability to probate and real estate. She was appointed Court Commissioner by the Hon. Janet Protasiewicz and currently serves on the Board of the LPGA Amateurs Gold Association-Milwaukee.
