When handling matters that fall under municipal jurisdiction, there are hundreds of statutes that may apply to the situation. Wisconsin Municipal Law Codebook: Cities, Towns, and Villages – 2013 gathers many of these statutes and puts them in one convenient publication. The codebook was produced by State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE with extensive input from members of the State Bar of Wisconsin Government Lawyers Division.

Incorporating 23 chapters from the Wisconsin Statutes, this codebook will become the first source you turn to when a municipal law issue arises.

The 2013 edition reflects 2012 legislative developments. The statutes contained in this book reflect the law as codified in the 2009–10 Wisconsin Statutes, as affected by acts through 2011 Wisconsin Act 286.  The administrative code provisions are current through rules promulgated in the Wisconsin Administrative Register, No. 682, Oct. 14, 2012 (eff. Oct. 15, 2012).
